Westport Ma Real Estate Homes for sale in Westport




- February 2013 -

Westport MA real estate  remains stable. In February  there were 10 homes sold in Westport compared to January when 11 homes were Sold in Westport.
 
SOLD HOMES: The lowest priced house in Westport in the month of February sold for $148,500 which was a Ranch on Beechwood Dr. In January the lowest priced home sold for $170,000.

The Highest priced home in Westport in the month of February sold for $680,000 which was a Cape on Drift Rd. Compared to January the highest price was a Colonial on Riverview Rd and it sold for $955,000. There was one Condos sold in February on 1346 Main Rd for $275,000,  one short sale on 38 Meadowbrook Lane which sold for $417,000 no Foreclosures nor Multi Families homes were sold in February.

UNDER AGREEEMNT:There were 9 single family homes Under Agreement with prices varying from $168,000 to $418,000 as of February 28th.

ACTIVE LISTINGS:There are currently 76 Active listing in Westport (based on MLSPIN MA) with prices varying from $168,900 on Old Bedford Rd up to $2,200,000 on Horseneck Rd. Five units are condominiums with prices between $167,500 and $439,000, and 7 are multi families with prices from $369,000 up to $459,000. There are currently no Foreclosure available for sale in Westport and 1 Short Sale.

Taking into consideration that in February alone we have the blizzard, which kept the town out of commission for more than a couple of days, plus 2 other weekends with daring weather, the month of February turned out ot be a pretty good month, which cleary shows what all the news are talking about, the housing recovery. We have the lowest house inventory in over a year and with the Spring right ahead this season looks will be a great one.
